Can someone tell me why my sims 2 bon voyage expansion pack will not install with my sims 2 game?

I have the Sims 2 deluxe game that came with it, and for some reason the bon voyage sims 2 will not install. Thye came together and i would like to know why the bon voyage will not allow me to install after i stalled the sims 2 deluxe.
