Well usually in situations like this, if you have to ask you can’t afford it.

The Cheapest Yacht is probably half a million dollars
The cheapest island depends on entirely how remote you care to be, and what mainland youre nearest to, and etc. Size, location, country of ownership, all of these factor in to the sale of an island to a private buyer.
Take a look at the network of residential islands that Dubai is building off the coast. You can see fascinating pictures through Google. One of those would be expensive.

Islands don’t have to be big or expensive. I remember hearing that islands around new England are going for some 500,000. Problem is getting water and electric on the island. Some of the pictures I saw had the house take up the entire island.

It was a time magazine article. You can probably look it up.

My father just bought a private island & one of the biggest yaghts on the west coast. Anyway, it cost around 15,785,498.25 for all of it. Its not really a bad price if you think about it.

By the way, my father wealthy so you might not be able to afford it, no offense.

A private island always cost about a million dollars or more. A yacht is between 9 thousands to over 10 millions dollars. Good luck buying both.

weel, it depends on where you want to buy…caribbean, fiji or something, you are talking a few million. on the other hand you can buy a 4 acre island for $250k in Nova Scotia.
Same with yachts, from $200K up to several million.

Have fun been there>know doing it>

there are still islands in the Pacific that are free to be claimed by anyone that dares to claim them!

In the Great Lakes you can snag a Canadian island for probably less than 100k, but it will freeze solid in the winter. Florida, Georgia and South Carolina has tons of coastal islands that can be Had for less than a million.

Remote Caribbean Island try the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos or Mexico.

as for a yacht, man that is impossible to answer, the cheapest thing that you could call a yacht can be had for about $80k (Bayliner Motor yacht) and from there the sky is truly the limit on size and price.
