He has been crawling and cruising for at least a month and a half or so and can squat, pick up toys and stand back up (while holding on to furniture). How long will it be before he is walking?
My son is 10 1/2 months old.

Its alla bout what they wanna do she still likes to crawl cause she can do it faster but will walk when she wants. keep holding his hand and walking around with him hell get more faith.
It’s different for all babies. One of my neices started walking before she was a year old… my other neice started to crawl early and all the doctors said she was so ahead for her age but she didnt actually walk until she was a year.
Different for every baby… really!!
My son ‘cruised’ for what felt like an eternity before actually taking a couple of steps without holding on to anything. I think it was almost 3 months!!! & then he woke up walking the next morning as if he had been doing it forever
I know how excited you are… it’ll happen!
it totally varies with every child, some don’t even crawl they just walk.
my daughter begain crawling in june, so she was 9 months and within 2 months of that she was walking (unsteadily) and by 13 months she was all over the place. Now, at 17 months its running, walking on her knees, climbing, etc…. enjoy your peace of mind for a few more months becuase once they start they never stop!!
My mother in law swears that my husband was walking by 9 months, and my mom says I walked by 12 months.
my son was born in july. He started all of his movement independant movement in January this year and is now around the same point of your son. i am just going by his acceleration rate that at about a month at a time he is drasticlly achieved and mastered new mobility and that puts us at ten months he will walk on his own. the scary part is that this will still not include great coordination or balance so i am excited but moving things so i am about a month ahead of him…..dunno if that helps….
There’s really no way to tell. All babies develop at different rates. My son didn’t crawl on his hands and knees (army crawled instead) until he was 6 months, shortly after he started pulling up to stand. He started cruising around 7 months, and walked at 9. He’ll do it when he’s ready, at his own rate.
Every child is different. I have 3 kids and they all walked at different times. My 1st was walking by 10 months, the 2nd didn’t walk until he was 15 months and the baby walked on his 1st birthday. I remember I kept complaining that they wasn’t walking and talking enough and soon after I wished they would sit down and be quiet. So just enjoy each stage because they don’t stay babies for long.
