My dad owns a 40′ yacht. Do you need any license to drive a boat that big whether your under or over 18?

I’m considering going to Full Sail University once I graduate high school. I’ve heard very mixed reviews about it though, which makes me doubt it’s as good as a college as I think it is. Does anyone here know how the university is looked at in the industry? Also, are the courses and teachers any good? I’m thinking about taking Show Production and Touring, and any information regarding those would be awesome.

My fiance and I are considering getting married in Tahiti. We want to charter a yacht and stay on it for 7 - 10 days. It will be just the two of us
I have heard that you can charter a yacht complete with captain and small crew. Does anyone know how to go about this, what the cost is, if it’s worthwhile?
We’re also open to other destinations if anyone has a good idea. Some we’ve discussed are Greece and Spain.

I want to buy a 29-32 foot sail boat. In the SF Bay area.
What should i check as far a electrical, pumps.
And how would i go about makeing sure the keel in not all dinged up? or is there even a point to ferivying the hull
Also if a late 70’s early 80’s 30 foot sail boat is for sail for around $4000 is it doomed to have something wrong with it?
